... you have no problem with frustrating fights.
... you like your mix of genres.

Many different weapon options, due to the forge and its peculiarities.
Interesting premise
Subtitled in Portuguese
Do not explore the interesting universe it offers
The forge mini-game can be confusing and frustrating at times.
Could you rely on a more familiar progression system?
The visuals are not very impressive, remaining rather ordinary.

Interesting Combat Ideas
Varied crafting and upgrade paths
Weapon durability is too low early on

Compelling Forge mechanic
Vast interconnected regions
Adso's compendium
Bland enemy designs
Uninspired storyline
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Combat feels fluid and responsive
There's a good amount of strategy involved with how you chose your weapon and how you use it
Good boss fights
Graphics and music are above average and fill out the atmosphere nicely.
Confusing and repetitive level design compounded by an unhelpful map
Escort sections are awful
Poor map with no distinction between floors or altitude
Story and characters didn't grab me.

fun boss fights
interesting world
weapon and combat variety can be fun
combat lacks rhythm
level design can at times be baffling
characters inconsistent
some repetitive in-world dialogue

Fun diegetic menus laced with lore and art
Soulslike components take away from the more experimental ideas
