Pros and cons for Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Warlock and Paladin classes are incredibly fun to play and offer a ton of build variety.
Endgame systems are more satisfying and rewarding than ever.
Incredible music, art, and visuals.
Still the best cinematics in all of gaming.
There's still not much of an answer for players who want a persistent, non-seasonal experience.
The best persistent cosmetic rewards are all expensive microtransactions. More should come from actual play.

Paladin and Warlock both offer excellent new playable classes
Additional systems and end-game content
Fantastic story
Fishing minigame feels a bit thin and underutilized right now

New place
Engaging story!

New character classes are fun
The Talisman and Horadric Cube systems are rewarding
War Plans add structure to endgame experience

The Warlock class is a lot of fun
The new systems are net improvements to Diablo IV
Likely still won't convert Path of Exile players

Great characters
Two new playable classes
Eternal Update brings a plethora of QOL improvements
Upgraded skill tree for a new level cap
End Game content improved
Breathtaking cutscenes
On brand visuals
High production musical ambience
Two new successful classes;
Excellent "War Plan" content;
Endgame more elaborate;
Interesting Horadric Seal;
Horadric Cube is back;
Substantial content;
Top-notch artistic direction and soundtrack.
Animations are sometimes stiff.

Improved endgame...
Revised skills trees for all classes
Two new fun classes

Combat remains as fun as always
Warlock class is a winner
Dark gothic, operatic narrative continues
New modes
War Plans is more of a re-mix than new content
Once amazing cinematics are feeling less special
New difficulty system will be contentious

The Skill and Paragon systems and new classes offer greater variety
There's plenty of content
Stats that are unclear and confusing
A cautious refinement rather than an evolution

Expanded build variety is extremely welcome, and absurdly deep
Endgame focus finally aligns player expectations to previous entries
Skovos as a new location is a visual treat
The Warlock might be the coolest Diablo class ever made
Oddly stiff character animations in smaller scale interactions

Raptor mount
Discovery of Skovos
Two new classes
Loot filter
Complicated talent tree

So many things to grind.
Incredible OST
Endgame is promising.

New areas are fun and there are clever easter eggs for Diablo fans scattered throughout the campaign
War Plans make the end game feel approachable with tangible goals easily tracked on screen
The story finally gives some substance and finality
Buying the new expansion also gives you the previous one
There's so many systems in the game to learn now that it's no longer "pick up and play" for newcomers or casual players
The monetization is still too egregious to spend money on unless you are passionate about a particular item

Incredibly epic story and boss encounters
Loads of great additional content
Some devastating boss attacks may catch you off guard and can be super-frustrating

The two new classes introduced offer a lot of possibilities.
The reconstruction of the talent tree is a success.
Technically even more sublime.
Very deep story...
It's not playanywhere, something unforgivable for a first party studio.

The island of Skovos
Classes are fun to play
Lots of additions for the endgame
The QOL additions
A little short for some
Some performance improvements would be a plus.
Strawberry pathfinding

End of solid, layered and rich in content and possibilities.
Remarkable improvements in terms of progression and customization of classes.
Visual confusion can be a problem in the most complex content.
This remains a repetitive title by its very nature.

Skovos, new successful region
The Paladin and the Warlock
A clearer endgame
A staging often excellent
Some rhythm issues
An imperfect technical launch
An economy still fragile
A price that can put off

A real conclusion to the story
Blizzard listens to players
Fishing, accessory
Artificially inflated content?

The war plans help make sure all endgame content is viable and worthwhile
The Skovos region is visually striking and filled to the brim with lore relevancy
Short and predictable storyline
The juggernaut and zealot paladin oaths are not visually impressive
An overall lack of innovation

Skovos stands out from the rest of Sanctuary in terms of activities and dungeons
Paladin and Warlock classes are very fun to play
Horadric Cube expands on crafting possibilities
Final boss is the best yet
War Plans should have been a free update and do little more than repackage existing endgame activities
Barrier to entry to Echoing Hatred is incredibly annoying
Talisman and its set bonuses introduces similar build-crafting quandaries
Overprice for what it ultimately offers
Several strong character moments
as usual, elegant and pompous intermediate sequences
The new region of Skovos is diverse and partly completely new in the Diablo cosmos.
With Paladin and Spellcaster, two new classes.
New full talent trees for all classes
Loot filter finally adjustable freely
Fishing
Return of the Horadric Cube
The talisman brings back set bonuses without having to sacrifice any equipment.
War plans are a good idea to structure the end of the game.
New characters like Queen Adriana remain bland.
Endgame continues to suffer from weaknesses despite some adjustments.
The constraint online is always present (of course)
Open World sometimes seems unnecessary.
