The graphics, sumptuous and ultra colorful. The gameplay, refined and immediate. The orchestral soundtrack, masterful. The tons of varied and well thought-out activities. The inimitable humor and charm.
Some slight frame rate drops. Overall difficulty too low.

Capture the humor of the Banjo-Kazooie series and leave it almost intact.
Lots of eccentric characters are waiting for you to talk to and challenge you.
Beyond looking prettier, it has been redesigned to improve its formula and incorporate many new elements and challenges.
The camera control is not bad, but it can be improved.
He abuses too much of events with countdown timers.
The way to solve problems or challenges is something repetitive.
The multiplayer mini-games have been removed as well as the assistance of a second player in the main adventure, in order to enhance the experience for a single player: we do not take it into account.

The makeover suits her perfectly.
Camera improvements that do justice to the game
New pages to obtain and additional missions
The gameplay receives its adjustments and remains up to par.
This can be overwhelming for some players.
The control has improved, but it still lacks a little more to be perfect.

Platforming is smoother and more enjoyable than in the original Yooka-Laylee.
Levels feel thoughtfully redesigned with better structure.
Rextro and Kartos mini-games are now fun and skill-based.
Visuals, the camera, and controls have been upgraded heavily.
Maps and fast travel streamline exploration perfectly.
Some puzzles and challenges are a bit too easy for experienced players
Collecting certain Pagies can feel overly straightforward.
Despite fixes, occasional camera hiccups still appear.
Having all moves unlocked early removes some progression grind factor.
Dr. Quack?s quizzes being removed slightly reduces gameplay variety.

Absolute improvement of the original by adding content, new models, challenges, and music.
The movement is very fluid and responds perfectly to commands.
Encourage to explore every corner.
His innocent diversion is a good reference to what platforms from the 90s would look like today.
The technical aspect leaves much to be desired.
It lacks verticality and does not take advantage of the transformations.

A really successful visual redesign
A gameplay now more precise, less rigid
Adding checkpoints and a map to visualize the objectives
Five very different worlds that have some punch
A generally successful OST with nice themes
Generous content for players aiming for 100% completion.
Presence of a cooperation mode?
Although not entirely convincing in form
Rather stingy in new content.
A difficulty sometimes much too simple
A camera always somewhat disturbing
No dubbing for the dialogues which makes the scenario anecdotal.
Vibrations too subtle and lack of use of the DualSense features

the integration of more content, including twice as many Pagies as in the original game
Presence of checkpoints making navigation easier and more enjoyable
The visual atmosphere reworked to make the game even cuter than in 2017.
The requirements to progress in the adventure do not take into account the changes made in this remake. The full set of abilities unlocked at the beginning of the adventure makes feather collection and the presence of the secondary vendor. Visible slowdowns in certain places.
