The world is great to explore
A vibrant game to play

Poor acting
The cinematic should have been better

+
Huge variety of sneaking options
+

-
Tech issues on PC

A successful atmosphere that combines humor and realism.
A staging and lighting work worthy of cinema
A music that lacks impact

Larger environments
A very successful artistic direction
An excellent English dubbing with French subtitles
Top music
A level design that allows for a ton of alternate paths and smells like Dishonored.
Pure and simple infiltration
The new Quartz powers are really fun to use.
Good value for money
Some cheap NPCs
No choice between Quality and Performance on PS5 Pro
Graphical bugs such as delayed textures or lighting management issues
A little repetitive on the longe
A sawtooth AI
A story not epic enough, just like its staging.

Little to no loading time
Freedom and creativity to play how you want
Having to manually save frequently costs progress and immersion

Meaningful changes have been made without diluting the formula
A lot of content available
The linear sections are a lot less interesting
Still possible to flub some actions

Creative stealth mechanics
Great music
Lots of open world variety
Graphical bugs and issues
Some repetitive backtracking
Narrative is fairly basic

Successful infiltration sensations
Useful items!
Atmosphere and sufficient humor
Sometimes repetitive tasks

Good stealth mechanics, quite classic.
Charismatic antihero
A lot of playful freedom and alternative solutions/paths to solution.
Several special skills and learnable gadgets
Many optional secrets in the world
Three levels of difficulty (modifiable at any time)
Manual backup possible at any time (except during combat)
Reliable gaming system...
In the end, few truly relevant new developments.
Fleeing from alerted enemies has few consequences.
Visually only average with some (minor) technical weaknesses.

The level design is spectacular.
The mechanics of infiltration are fantastic.
Close combat requires more work.
Textures take a long time to load at times.

Styx is foul-mouthed but somewhat likeable
Some nice skills and tools to play wth
Hunting down Quartz can get a little repetitive
The lack of a map can be a pain

Solid level design with great verticality
Meaningful progression systems that give the game a Metroidvania feel
Easily accessible Quick Save option
Inconsistent enemy AI
Technical and optimization issues

There's incredible replayability here
Styx is hilarious as a protagonist
The supporting characters are boring

Successful level design
A well-oiled gameplay

Scenario in the background

The open world suits the saga well.
The charisma of Styx, quite a phenomenon.
Graphically, it's a huge leap forward in the saga...
The enemy AI is very basic.
The story is very forgettable.

Gadgets and skills encourage a creative approach.
The very open Styx will elicit a few laughs from you.
Variety of enemies included
Graphically unstable

Styx's rogue and politically incorrect charisma remains faithful, offering a very refreshing dark humor.
The transition to Unreal Engine 5 offers spectacular moments.
Close combat is brutal and can be improved.
AI is inconsistent, with erratic reactions on multiple occasions.

Nice arsenal of tools and strengths
Good performance on PC
The levels themselves are well designed...
Sometimes a little too much trial and error
A few small technical flaws
... But leaves something to be desired in terms of navigability.

Satisfying one hit kills
Good stealth abilities
Weak writing for dialogue
Repetitive gameplay loop

The richness of game and level design, serving a free and rewarding infiltration experience.
An immersive medieval-fantasy universe
An AI with its moments of brilliance?
A very generous lifespan for the species?
Inaccuracies and imperfections, more or less frustrating, in the gaming experience.
Various finishing issues at launch
And his legendary goldfish memory
Without a doubt, too much!
Decent return of the series
Detection patterns of enemies don't always make sense

Three levels of difficulty
Three main areas freely accessible
Resetting points
Environmental traps
New skills acquired throughout the game
Some beautiful passages
Styx is well designed and generally well animated.
Appropriate soundtrack
Funny guard dialogues
good English speakers
The explanations of the PS5 version sometimes refer to PC control.
Some functions are not explained.
Stupid opponent
Difficult orientation - also due to the lack of a map
The level objectives remain the same.
Extremely difficult close combat system
Lack of overall perspective
The game character can remain stuck to the environment.
Emerging textures, especially in the cinematics.
Constant jerks (and no choice between quality mode and performance mode)
Animations sometimes weak
Poor and incorrect audio mixing, making it difficult to locate enemies.
The background noise sometimes stops abruptly.
No German version

Gameplay fluidity
Well-thought-out open scenarios
Very lively and well-directed cut scenes.
Localization in Portuguese from Brazil
Boring and incoherent story
Content repetition
Lack of overall polish
Unbalanced difficulties
An attractive atmosphere mixing dark fantasy and steampunk.
The 3 main cards feature an interesting level design, with a focus on verticality that works very well.
Insipid and undeveloped plot
Something rough in the gameplay, with several technical elements to refine and some bugs, would have benefited from more time in the oven.
The 9-year age difference is hardly noticeable in terms of graphics with the second delivery.
