Real sense of kineticism
Beautiful world design in both aesthetics and narrative
Incredible music
Difficulty can get intense

Learning more to the story is completely optional, but has a nice depth.
Varied amount of tricks to keep your score rising.
Each new weapon changes the previous strategy in an exciting way.
Excellent assists to help anyone play and enjoy the game.
Campaign shorter than expected.
Super unique gameplay

?Overarching campaign story was subtle yet appealing

?Assist settings are optional and open the game to a wider audience
?Satisfying gun play with reflex mode, auto aim and ammo regeneration being the cherry on top
?Some challenges can be downright cruel

Synthwave music suits the chaotic action to a tee
Controls are comfortably responsive, making for some smooth combat and skating
Excellent arena design with optional objectives that provide a reason to revisit and retry each level
Not much by way of the narrative and characterization
Music can become a bit repetitive overtime
Some environments may also feel a bit too familiar
Even with reasons to replay, base campaign feels short

Gorgeous visuals
Great energy

Retrofuturistic presentation
Fun, short bouts of gameplay sessions

Striking art style and score
Plenty of challenge without feeling unfair or frustrating

Sections within levels ebb and flow together well
A captivating graphic novel art style
Filled with an enticing world I was begging to see more of
Challenges and additional hard campaign fosters replayability
Rare boss encounters were rinse and repeat
Other competitors are nowhere to be seen

The core loop is satisfying and tight enough
The concept of Rollerdrome as a futuristic blood sport rules
The story feels like an afterthought
Not an enormous range of arenas to slay in

Interesting aesthetic.
Low replayability

Fantastic musical score and sound design
Well told story
When the gameplay isn't beating you over the head, it's a rush like nothing else
Boss fights are repetitive and oddly easier than some normal stages
Having to complete challenges to unlock additional stages like it's 2001 if you want to count on the scoreboard
The cryo-beam girls are purely irritating to fight

Tight, responsive controls.
Decent amount of aerial tricks and grinds.
Fantastic art style and soundtrack.
Camera can be your worst enemy.
Arenas focused too much on “quantity” over using the spaces imaginatively.
Incredibly short campaign.
Two, repetitive bosses.
