Increase to the maximum the chaotic moments that characterize the franchise.
The amount of content is overwhelming and the free mode is a remarkable addition.
There are some circuits that are crazy and among the most original that Nintendo has created.
The new mechanics of grinding on ramps and jumping on walls

New dynamic gameplay elements
Various modes: Grand Prix, survival, stroll
Innovative semi-open gameplay.
Well-dosed AI
Dynamic weather
A high-quality soundtrack

Audiovisually, it is very ambitious and quite a prodigy.

Knockout Tour is frantic fun
New ways to get around add replay value
Knockout Tour should be more compact

Knockout Tour is an incredible new addition

Excellent choice of sets and tracks...
Very in-depth learning curve...
Potentially extraordinary longevity
Great new Survival mode
Visually, a monstrous showcase.
Applause for the entire audio sector.
The best Rainbow track of the series
... to the detriment of intermediate paths
... occasional risk of discouragement
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Tons of racers and vehicles
Interconnected world is awesome
Out of bounds is very strict
Battle courses are too big

The soundtrack is astounding
Knockout Mode and Free Roam are great additions
Great launch title
Price tag might deter some players who aren't Mario Kart fanatics

It features an open world full of challenges, nods, curiosities... It's even a tutorial!
If we take into account the challenges of the P blocks, we could say that it is a complete game in itself.
It's incredibly fun, like all good Mario Kart games.
The feeling that important things are missing to add is there, and there are also some underexplored questions. For example, stickers could have been much more exploited.
The Survival mode, depending on the perspective, can be extremely unfair.

With 24 drivers, twice as many participants as in the predecessor.
Beautiful detailed graphics
Great feeling of speed
Vast and diverse open world
Several vehicles and cool costumes unlockable.
Despite the large size of the world, its reach is limited.
Overall, the courses are less spectacular than in the previous one.
No online tournaments like in the predecessor.

Dynamism of races and potential for progression
More players for bigger comebacks
Adapted to everyone
Deserve more races and characters
no 200 CC

Keys (reprogrammable via the system)
Playable with just one Joy-Con controller.
Alternative control of movements
The open world allows for flexible track combinations during your own races.
Challenges and collectible items...
24 participants in the race (and chaos does not take over)
Very well-designed routes with more verticality on the alternative itineraries.
New and very exciting K.O. mode
New articles integrate well.
Grand Prix, Battle, Time trial
I love you.
Smooth continuous display (Dock: solo and 2 players at 60 fps; 4 players at 30 fps)
Change from day to night and weather conditions...
Course with many small details
Graphic effects such as snow on characters or slowly soaked clothing.
Outstanding original soundtrack
Impeccable German texts
Local multiplayer with multiple Switch-2 devices or up to 4 players on split screen.
Online race with up to 24 participants
Aggressive lane assistant activated by default without warning
Some missing comfort features such as "Pause and Record" in GP
With a new approach, the road layout becomes less clear to see.
... but not many more tasks in the world
No 200 cc class
The function of going back seems inconsistent (why are only the players brought back?)
... however gradually instead of fully dynamic
Online membership for Nintendo Switch is also required to download spirits.

Knockout Tour at 150cc is utter bedlam and panic-inducing
Tons of unlockable scrimblos and costumes
Stellar visuals and expressive animation
Incredibly varied tracks
For $79.99, it's overpriced
The expansive open world does not live up to its full potential
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Knockout Tour
New boosting options
The vibes
Lack of split-screen in Free Roam
Weak spread of unlocks
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Excellent technical field.
A beautiful design blending old and new levels, pleasantly surprising.
A large roster of characters.
Free Roam, which gives us the impression that Mario Kart World is the first open-world game in the series...
The roster is flooded with multiple character skins without any significant impact on the game.
Absence of any substantial parameterization of vehicles.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Courses are clever, varied, and fun
Dazzling visuals and smooth performance
Free Roam is a pleasurable time waster
Classic Battle Mode remains a blast
Sprawling, catchy soundtrack
Lots of content
Free Roam may be too unstructured for some
But is it $80 worth of content?

We love to stroll around in the open world.
The beauty of the graphics in some levels
Gameplay just as enjoyable
Immense potential with updates
We would have liked a story mode
Not enough objectives in open world
Where did Black Yoshi go ????
The official price, not justified without the promise of free updates.

Soundtrack and technical department
Survival mode is a great way out
24 players may be a bit too many
The method of unlocking characters is too random.

A colorful, varied artistic direction, with immersive light effects and a day-night cycle.
More than 200 captivating themes, blending jazz, rock, and reimagined classics.
Even more dynamic gameplay with charged jumps, rail slides, and wall rides.
Smooth multiplayer locally or online
32 tracks, including 18 new ones, with nostalgic nods.
The absence of the 200cc is frustrating for speed enthusiasts.
Limited customization with the removal of the option to choose wheels and gliders.
Some chaotic races due to the large number of competitors and overly powerful items.
30fps only at 4 in split-screen
A price too high of 89.99 ?

Expanded character roster and kart customisation options
Excellent track design mixing nostalgia with fresh ideas
Improved online multiplayer with seasonal content and rankings
Occasional frame drops or pop-in during open areas
Limited innovation in core racing mechanics
AI difficulty spikes in later World Tour stages
Some longtime fans may miss the tighter focus of older entries
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

A solid soundtrack, now evolving
Rich and varied circuits
The jumping mechanism, difficult to master, but interesting
The adrenaline of survival mode
Limited vehicle customization
Moments of emptiness and straight lines that break the rhythm.
Gameplay with its eternal frustrations (and injustices)
No 200cc mode

New interesting mechanics
Impressive character casting
Technical achievement at the top
The stroll mode
Limited online multiplayer
Excessive price
No promises of DLC or new options
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Knockout Tour is an all-timer mode
Charmingly animated roster
Great performance and fidelity
Race pacing struggles under open-ended tracks
Uneven customisation options
Shelf price
Hectic, fast-paced racing that never feels unfair
+
Beautiful open world to roam around in
+
Crunchy new mechanics to work into your arsenal
Maybe too many collectibles, even
-
Open world might feel too barren for some
-
Ultimately just a souped-up kart racer
Nintendo's expressive era shines through
Incredible soundtrack full of beautiful rearrangements
More coming soon...
Some courses feel like an afterthought in Grand Prix
More coming soon...
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.
beautiful well-designed open world
new challenging courses
Many tasks in the open world
Awesome and exhilarating K.O. tour
better management with more finesse
Wallruns and grinds open up new possibilities for alternate paths.
a very good online connection
Probably the most beautiful Rainbow Road in the series
Jazzy soundtrack with many remixes
large number of drivers and karts
too easy for soloists in general
More assembleable karts
The music is sometimes too light
Beautiful animations
Technically perfect
The Survival mode is beautiful
Soundtrack among the best of Nintendo
Unstructured free course
Disabling Classic Mode
Few survival tracks
Quality journeys, just the right mix of novelty and tradition.
Survival mode is a big plus.
Many characters, costumes and vehicles...
Flight controls a little bit blurry.
The open world mode is still immature.
The physical edition at 90? is not really justified.
