great soundtrack
incredible level design, packed with all sorts of secrets and collectibles for the enterprising player who goes off the beaten trail
packed with a frankly ridiculous amount of content
extremely straightforward and satisfying movement and controls
new features like Mouthful mode and the Waddle Dee village add a lot of variety and depth to the game
great production values
just incredibly fun and a joy to play.
game is fairly short if you stick to just the critical path.
