Freedom to tackle hostile territory in various ways.
The campaign feels fresh and modern.
Multiplayer includes 9 maps and eight modes at launch.
Well-optimized for mid-tier PCs.

Cinematics, both in campaign and multiplayer, are thrilling and impressive
Performance is brilliant on Xbox Series X

Battlefield Portal looks very promising
Battle Royale still to come!
The campaign is a short experience if you?re not interested in multiplayer
Some aspects of the game still need a little balancing

Realism and sense of combat.
Shot, movement and sound.
Towards UI/UX.
The size of certain cards.

Sounds terrifying, chaotic, and amazing
Destruction is awesome

Battlefield Portal
The moments within the game

Occasionally twitchy aiming on controller

Return of the class system
Graphics and performance are surprising.
Fierce battles, highlighting the vehicles
Destruction is one of the best parts of the game.
The portal was an XP machine for some players.

Visually excellent
Deep and polished multiplayer...
Not very "brave" in terms of innovation
Some balance issues

An effective campaign
A very engaging multiplayer game
Intense battles
Top-notch sound design
Gameplay is still as good as ever.
Faces a little dated

The gameplay of the "All Out Warfare" modes is once again closer to the old installments of "Battlefield".
Significant extensions for control and movement possibilities.
Wide variety of cards and various game modes
Motivating progression system
Exciting multiplayer action with great replayability
The campaign remains bland from a narrative and gameplay perspective.
Some bugs and technical inconsistencies

An immersive sound atmosphere
The destruction of the set
More teamwork than ever
A solo mode with varied missions
A progression that takes time with many challenges
Several small bugs that should be fixed by patches at the release.
We would have liked some solo maps to be available in multiplayer.
Familiar classes are clear in their parameters, and each one feels viable
Signature traits and gadgets ensure each class is distinct and allow for some harmonious loadout combinations
Crouch sprinting and dragging downed teammates to safety are welcome additions
Campaign missions are uninspired and frequently dull

Beautiful presentation and visuals
+
Layered multiplayer mechanics
+
Class systems add extra nuance and purpose
The campaign is a mixed and muddled bag
-
General lack of innovation or originality cross the board
-
Pace of unlocking new gear can be very slow

The return of iconic classes
The return of destruction
Expansion mode
The visual quality of the game
Always the United States as the only great saviors
Campaign too short

Good suite of launch maps
Destruction mechanics that add a layer to the gameplay Battlefield was missing
A good amount of variety between game modes

The feeling of weapons
Her understated cosmetics, thank you.
Not necessarily very remarkable cards
The menus and settings are very cluttered.

Four classes in the vein of Bad Company 2
Straightforward progression for unlocks
Escalation is a smart riff on Conquest
Too many city maps at launch
Fast TTK and sliding can take getting used to

Multiplayer at its Finest, With Plenty of Variety
Strong, Addicting Progression System
Guns, and Lots of 'Em! They Feel Great to Use!
City Maps Feel Repetitive

Classes are balanced really well and offer plenty of depth
Guns feel distinct and visceral, The attachments allow for nice customizability, Campaign has lots of great gameplay moments.
Air vehicles feel sluggish and unsatisfying to pilot, Terrible campaign load times
Plot is achingly predictable with flashbacks that hurt pacing.
No "Pros & Cons" find at GameInformer

Explosive graphics and sound are greatly optimized.
Passive skills and open weapons allow for better customization of classes.
The usual menus of Battlefield, increasingly simple but never clear.
The maps are well-designed topographically but not very detailed.

The fundamental playful components work very well.
Technically and graphically very solid.
The design of the cards may displease some people.
Some imperfections in the gameplay still need to be fine-tuned.

Graphically and technically of very high quality
Stunning sound design
Some balancing is still needed.
Not everyone will like the design of the cards.

Action-packed campaign full of memorable moments
Significant improvements to gameplay
Return of iconic class-based system
Amazing audio design
Very scalable PC performances with minimal technical issues.

The return of the class system and the abundance of weapons at the beginning.
The balance achieved between infantry and vehicles.
The fluidity of the combat is spectacular: shooting game, unrestricted movement actions...
Very good in terms of graphics.
The campaign mode is to be forgotten.
There are missing features that we saw in the saga over 10 years ago: there is no dynamic weather, evolution, or naval combat launching.

At the shooting range, you test different types of weapons and their effects by changing weapon parts.
Aim and move in a high-end way, whether on foot or behind the wheel.
Possible part of bot for training
Four levels of difficulty for the campaign
Six-hour solo mode...
Sequence of spectacular moments in the middle of the countryside.
The story offers thrilling action scenes.
Cinematics sometimes offer evocative images, especially during the framing interrogation.
Simply spectacular destruction effects...
Playable on computers that are not quite recent, even with low settings.
Superb sound carpet ranging from the detonation of gunshots to the dust settling after the explosion.
Large maps for battles with up to 64 players and sometimes pronounced verticality.
Destruction effects can also provide a tactical advantage.
Incentives to play based on the respective class or optional rules for weapon types restricted by class.
Custom server rules or entire community modes possible thanks to Battlefield Portal.
The climbing mode fits well within the range of modes.
The main menu could be clearer.
... which is not playable offline
Story with flat characters and mostly predictable plot twists.
Destruction plays virtually no tactical role in missions.
Some campaign segments seem to be staged in a casual manner, while others drag on.
AI acting in an obviously stupid way
... but also many unbreakable level elements
In the countryside, graphical bugs sometimes appear.
A German adaptation sometimes lacking in emotion in the countryside (unlike in multiplayer)
Sound-based localization is difficult in the general noise of the slaughter.
08/15-Modi aside from the Death Match rather useless - why not focus more on the main Battlefield experience?
Spawning on the team sometimes places you directly in front of the enemy's weapon.
When searching for specific cards in certain game modes, matchmaking sometimes ignores the desired card.

Incredibly refined movement and gunplay mechanics
The potential of user-made content assembled with Portal is massive
Astonishing audiovisual presentation, as usual
Excellent graphics performance with few-to-no hiccups
Seamless cross-platform infrastructure
Maps are well-designed and properly accommodate destruction...
One-note campaign that replays past hits but lacks fervor or creativity
In-game menus and submenus could use a rework

Good variety of game modes and maps
Return of destructive environments
Game mode editor can?t be accessed in game, and there are some minor server issues
Fully open weapons are a bit divisive

The new challenge system is brilliant in unlocking items.
The atmosphere is more chaotic than ever thanks to the new destruction system.
The class system has returned to the franchise, giving Battlefield its identity again.
The campaign isn?t great, and it definitely should?ve had more focus on it.
The levelling system is still an issue in the franchise. It shouldn?t take an eternity to unlock items that usually take much quicker time to unlock in other FPS titles.

Brilliant and complete multiplayer mode that echoes the best elements of the series.
Clear, understandable and synergistic four-class system
Exceptional shooting gameplay and powerful recoil feedback.
The new movement system allows for more tactical possibilities.
An exceptional soundtrack and impressive destruction physics
Wide selection of diverse multiplayer cards
Flat story and uninteresting characters with no depth at all.
The freedom to choose weapons for all classes dilutes the distribution of roles.
Overall, very few real innovations compared to previous parts.
The smaller game modes feel out of place.

Real battlefield;
Your fair and sober;
Interesting map level design;
Destructible environments;
Controlled progression;
Secondary microtransactions;
Top-notch sound quality.
Limited content (only 9 cards);
Technically limited in solo;
Lack of surprise.

The multiplayer gameplay is once again great.
Impressive in terms of audio.
A visually beautiful game
The performance is good
Bugs and glitches in the campaign

The return of a solo campaign, in addition to massive multiplayer
A promising Portal mode for creation and customization enthusiasts.
High quality visuals and sound on next-gen consoles
A strong launch that revives the franchise
Focusing on the show can sometimes harm team tactics.
Some mechanics (such as the Conquest ticket or the absence of ray tracing) may disappoint purists.
The real test will be the ability to hold on in the long term: will we still be in the arena after the first two months?

More compact multiplayer, less scattered and with many game modes.
I share exceptional technical and audio skills.
Tactical and dynamic destructibility...
Shallow and forgettable campaign
Inaccurate and unstable matchmaking

Soldier classes
Shoot while pulling his teammate.
Back to a less frantic gameplay
Teamwork
Improvement of weapon too significant
Vehicles can be numerous
The map is a bit small.

Variety of game modes in multiplayer
Powerful graphics engine
The return of a solo campaign
Visually stunning campaign
Destructible buildings in multiplayer
AI malfunction for bots
Overloaded multiplayer interface
The difficulty of the solo campaign is too low in normal mode.
Some bugs still present in both single player and multiplayer modes.

Multiplayer is another level of chaos in a great way
Destruction tech is superb
Story is completely forgettable from the word go
No "Pros & Cons" find at L'info tout court

Epic battle peaks in Conquest and Breakthrough
Destruction is always enjoyable when it serves the game.
FREE REDSEC that can attract people
Overall clean netcode for a launch
TTK too short, constant pressure that wears out
Unmemorable cards, marginalized vehicles
Progression too grindy, menus UX cumbersome
Crossplay and aim assist that annoy the lobbies

Interesting new multi-player battle settings, even if the likes of Cairo and Brooklyn have basically been reduced to rubble by the time you get there
Weapon variety encourages experimentation with your favoured load-out
The campaign is too enjoyable to be this short

Sometimes grainy textures, for example when approaching the panels.
Balanced classes
various modes
