Nice world to explore, with lots of different enemies and locations
Short rest system demands you choose between risk and reward
Awkward menus to master
Not at all enjoyable on your own

Familiar characters and enemies
Potentially fun co-op action
Effective music and voice acting
Broken single player game
Brain-dead AI
Many bugs, some significant

Characters feel mechanically distinct
Graphics tend to stutter
Doesn't feel like D&D

Four player co-op
Boss battles are fun
Loot delay system is a good move
Unnecessarily painful matchmaking
Button mashing from start to finish

Feels like Dungeons and Dragons
Interesting story overall
Constant performance issues
Monotonous gameplay

Co-op play can be fun
Battle system is unbalanced
Lacks polish

Detailed, well designed environments to explore
Great skill and ability progression
Humorous dialogue and great voice acting
Too many bugs and glitches to ignore, breaking immersion
Encounters are very repetitive, save for a couple of interesting boss fights
Exploration is also repetitive, lacking something more interesting or puzzle-like
No character growth. Literally none.

The backgrounds and environments
It doesn't use the Baldur's Gate name
It's on Game Pass
Poor animation and janky movement
Lackluster exploration and pointless collectibles
RPG stats that are mostly separate to loot, abilities, and combat
Doesn?t scale for solo play
Riding up elevators in co-op is janky, and there are a lot of them
Enemy AI is some of the worst seen in years
Can?t view equipment or abilities ?in-game?
Upgrade and crafting system is tiers of pointless tiers. Spending gold to upgrade crystals to upgrade an item
Inconsistent difficulty spikes where bosses have fewer hit points and do less damage than trash mobs
The poor animation extends to floating over stairs and magically climbing a ledge with one arm fully extended
Slow levelling adds to the distinct lack of action-RPG, well, action
Enemies constantly stun-lock you and juggle you to death
Enemies often don?t even react to light attacks or heavy attacks, they mostly just flash so you know they?ve been hit
Sometimes they do, and sometimes you can stun them
Combat is built on precision blocking and parries, but is so jank none of it works
Auto-targeting doesn?t work, in the sense that facing an enemy doesn?t mean you?ll attack them
Lock on system zooms the camera in so close enemies often occlude the FOV
Default camera is zoomed in too close too, you often don?t see who?s attacking you
Only one ranged class to play as
Ability cooldowns by default last for several minutes, sucking the fun out of the combat
And you can only have two equipped at any time, both tied to a single button
The list goes on

Combat can be interesting and feels pretty good
The characters are all distinct
Loot is handled well
Basically no enemy variety
Lackluster sidequests
No way to access your character sheet in levels
No local co-op
Levels all feel the same
Poor puzzles
It's incredibly buggy
No cross-play
