The visual redesign is absolutely beautiful.

Good gameplay duration, especially for the first playthrough (between 8-10 hours)

Some performance issues, even in Performance Mode. Movement still feels outdated, could have been redone freely like in the most recent version of Myst.

A magnificent remake, perfectly faithful to the original and at the same time very refreshed for 2025, filled with quality of life improvements, new fresh materials, and corrections.
We fully support the choice to maintain the traditional movement in the space.
Few titles offer such an atmosphere and universe.

Respect for the original game and the universe of Benoît Sokal. Carefully crafted graphics faithful to the style of the time. Successful music signed by Inon and Ori Zur. Varied and detailed environments. A real effort in storytelling with new secondary storylines.
Gameplay too dated for a remake. You cannot move freely. Very slow pace that may put off more than one player. Puzzles are sometimes not very intuitive or poorly contextualized. Some framerate drops. Short lifespan (6 to 8 hours).
