Strong characterization and writing
Excellent tactical gameplay loop with some new hooks, like back up and Bonds, that slot in naturally
Captures the mood and atmosphere of Star Wars with the fidelity to match
Shadow quality and aliasing isn't the best on Performance Mode, and Quality Mode isn't a substantial enough upgrade
Plot takes a while to get going
Despite some interesting twists, the stakes never really measure up in the latter half

Excellent tactical combat, with an intelligent AI and growing enemy that offers a strong challenge.
Good base and character development, with a reasonable range of customisation in cosmetics as well as weapon mods and abilities.
Generally looks and sounds great.
Well-developed core stages which offer multiple stages, interesting combat and (guest!) characters...
...However, Side missions can be repetitive
A few bugs here & there, such as textures not loading fully.
Movement could get niggly, and the UI could get in the way at times.

The Link system between heroes, a real delight

A deep, readable, faithful turn-based system, true to the XCOM spirit without being a shadow of it.
A customizable squad and links that change the supports and reinforcements
A convincing Clone Wars atmosphere, including music and voices.
A long, replayable campaign with adjustable difficulty.
A very successful graphic design
A console rate more comprehensive than many licenses of the same level.
Strange technical issues despite the power of the PS5 Pro (stuttering, collisions, micro-freezes)
A central narrative less sharp than the secondary characters

An exceptional Star Wars atmosphere thanks to familiar locations, species, factions, an original soundtrack, and typical design elements.
Deep and varied combat system with numerous classes, skills, cover mechanics, and tactical possibilities.
In-depth development of characters including equipment, specializations, relationships, and individual skills.
Very strong staging with detailed graphics, successful animations, and high-quality intermediate sequences.
Accessible control also allows beginners of the genre to start quickly, while higher difficulty levels challenge experienced players.
The translation in English is: Lip synchronization is not always respected in the German version.
The text-based side missions are somewhat inferior to the main missions with elaborate plots.
Some missions may lose a bit of variety due to similar processes.
The Permadeath mode and the Beskar mode should be particularly challenging for less experienced players.
