Pros and cons for Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Perfect presentation for a musou
Interesting, lore-expanding narrative
Weaker race leads
Couple of worn-out clichés
Could use a few more strategic maps
No "Pros & Cons" find at Le Bêta-Testeur

The gameplay is very well crafted.
It works wonders on Nintendo Switch 2.
We need an online cooperative.

Looks, sounds, and plays every bit as slick and polished as a mainline Zelda game
Sync strikes and other combat tweaks make for best-in-class battling
Clever use of UI, menus, music, and more from TOTK
Tougher levels provide loads of challenge
Suitably superb soundtrack, and voice-acting is top stuff
No "Pros & Cons" find at Nintendúo

Particularly spectacular visually mass battles.
Several playable heroes with individual skills, combos, and impressive special attacks.
A very high tactical depth by exploiting the weaknesses of the opponent.
Many Sonau components are cool as gadgets.
Wide range of side missions and other tasks on the world map

Fluide
Beau
No "Pros & Cons" find at Shacknews

Teamwork-focused combat is engaging
Better tech than its predecessors
Tons for completionists to do
Nice music and voice work
Star-Fox-style missions a surprise
30fps cutscenes and the rare FPS hiccup
Core campaign short by Warriors standards

More compelling story
Excellent aesthetics
Wide variety of fighters/skills
Few familiar faces
Nothing but fighting

Engaging gameplay principle
Four levels of difficulty
Good solo gameplay duration (25 hours and more)
Many playable heroes with multiple individual skills.
More tactical depth, notably thanks to the Sonau components.
High quality staged story
Wide range of side missions and numerous character upgrades (optional) through the world map.
60 images per second constantly
A show of spectacular effects
Mainly good animations
Rich sound effects
Good speech synthesis (also in German!)
Upbeat background music
Manageable playful request
The cards often look too similar.
Sometimes environments are very lacking in details.

One of the best musou ever created, with very interesting gameplay innovations.
Good performance, especially in TV mode, with stable 60 frames per second.
The camera remains a pending issue.
Although it is replayable, it could have included more post-game elements.

Narratively, it is an excellent complement to Tears Of The Kingdom.
Simple yet well-implemented combat system.
We can see that it is a cross-gen production (although it is exclusive to the Switch 2).

Impeccable Spanish dubbing with consistent cinematics.
On-screen combinations that make the game much more accessible.
Variety of characters with unique fighting styles
Gigantic map and a lot of content
Outstanding technical section with stunning graphics
Occasional frame drops, few but they happen.
Some enemies with very basic AI

Excellent technical field.
A wide variety of missions and content that will satisfy fans of games in this genre.
A long and very faithful central plot to the original material...
Repetition and grinding continue to be offered equally, also equally exhausting.
The capacity requirements, which may bother some players.

The combat system offers a good variety of situations.
Beautiful to look at and, this time, also very smooth.
The list of playable characters did not fully convince us.
Difficulty level set a little too low

Many unique and remarkable characters
Captivating story with quite a few dramatic moments.
Beautiful technical presentation
Passive NPCs
No "Pros & Cons" find at VideoChums
Unique Skills and Sync Strikes are rewarding, active, and add depth
Cleaving through hundreds of enemies is still zen-like
Performance is excellent, both handheld and docked
Lacks mission variety
The Depths and Sky Islands are underutilized

Zelda is a great lead
+
Tech performance is great
+
Story additions work well
Boring battlefield design
-
Missions overly linear

Shooter sections are an odd addition
