Stunning visuals and tasteful map design give depth to YIIK's world
The soundtrack is excellent, ranging from electro-jazz to synth-heavy melancholic tracks
Battles are unintuitive, slow, clunky, and often boring.
Despite being intriguing at first, most of the characters become boring before long.
Many of the game’s puzzles are tedious and off-putting.
A lot of the “postmodern” aspects of YIIK are unnecessary and pretentious
