Dark and fascinating atmosphere
A story rich in mysteries and moral choices.
Good replayability thanks to multiple endings
Characters with well-crafted and consistent expressions that match the events.

Quantity and poorly executed mini-games that disrupt the storytelling.
The sets are not particularly memorable.
Absence of the Italian language

The Mildew Children has a beautiful art style. The characters are well-designed and have a fairytale look to them.
The game is long enough for it to feel fulfilling but doesn?t make you feel like you have wasted a whole day playing it.
The atmosphere in the game is good. It?s eerie and dark and it suits the game well.

The puzzle mechanics can be frustrating. Whether it was not knowing what to do or having the puzzle take place during important dialogue it distracted you from the game.
Not so much a con but a personal opinion, The Mildew Children could have benefitted from the addition of more sound effects and possibly some voice acting.
Lastly, the game may have needed to have a warning at the start to notify players of some of the themes of the game.
