Well optimized with stable frame rates on ultra settings, even on a mid-range AMD system.
Challenging gameplay with multiple scenarios that encourage replay.

Extremely strategic resource management, offering good challenges.
Complex and very well created characters
Choices with a real impact on the story and endings
Rewarding exploration full of surprises
Potential graphic problems and bugs

An emotional and humanist sci-fi story of self-discovery that's both existential and introspective
+
Base building and management systems are fun and satisfying ? efficiency, optimization, modular base building, it's all here
+
Tough decision making, crisis aversion, and plenty of other high-stake challenges for survivalist sickos
Emotional story beats mostly pull you through, but some sections feel like you're just task-ticking

Great characters with intriguing arcs
Stupendous voice acting
Survival mechanics are deep, varied, and complex
Some silly glitches to be ironed out

The voice acting by Alex Jordan across all the versions of Jan really helps make them feel unique.
No resource punishment for altering your base setup allows for experimentation.
Very clever writing that invests in longterm payoffs for the player.
The save system, while understandable, can be a little frustrating.
Slightly obtuse in places, but nothing that cannot be overcome with curiosity.
Character faces can lose detail during dialogue sections.

Strong writing and voice acting
Deep management systems with ethical choices

Maximum replayability
Interacting with and among the Alters generates memorable moments.
User interface to be improved in certain menus and in the tutorial.
Facial animations are very limited and movements are imprecise.

Varied character personalities
Bugs that negatively impact the experience
Time limits that force area changes

... attract you with its psychological depth and identity questions.
... you appreciate light time pressure as a tension element.
... a slower-paced gameplay focused on dialogue rather than constant action.
... too many dialogues or introspective topics can bore you.
... you have no interest in moral gray areas or internal conflicts.
... it bothers you when gameplay mechanics repeat themselves.

An exciting multifaceted gameplay
Impressive achievement
No backup during a busy day.
Some dilemmas can be quite cruel at times

Narrative remains enthralling with compelling mysteries
Gorgeous visuals and presentation
Great dialogue, which flows well thanks to Alex Jordan's performance as Jan
Some odd pixellation issues in close-up scenes

Interesting decisions
Thought-provoking story
Balances serious and silly
Static conversations

A rich gameplay...
A very elaborate and pleasant artistic direction
The original concept of the game with the Alters
Good replay value
A compelling PS5 version
Several difficulty options to customize the experience
A game that does not hold our hand
The title manages to renew itself on several occasions.
... which can, nevertheless, be frustrating at times
Discussions with Alters that are a little too frequent, sometimes.

The rhythm of resource and relationship management is tense but enthralling
The gameplay stress is balanced with a heavy does of humour including some of the finest short films I've seen in a game
Choices matter
Dialogue is riddled with spelling mistakes and tonal whiplash in light of what's actually happening
Third act fizzles out a bit in terms of the established desperate survival tone
Traversing the base on foot is not a good time

The ''branching" mechanic adds a deeper level to the narrative
Constantly keeps things fresh by adding new elements to gameplay and the world
Well constructed narrative and dialogue between alters
