Wonderful and always relevant plot;
Well-made remake.
Successful and clean graphic interface.
Crazy and atypical graphic style.
Enveloping and even unsettling atmosphere.
Gameplay rooted in the past;
A somewhat outdated feeling in charge: one must adapt quickly.

Technically stable
Intriguing story.
An incredible setting that gives the impression of being a real place.
SHODAN as the ultimate "bad girl".
Interesting and attractive presentation.
The endless exploration of the Citadel station.
Cool fight and panic

Citadel Station is awesome to explore
SHODAN & her minions are terrifying
Exploration, puzzle-solving, & combat feel good
Every new tool feels like a satisfying addition to your kit
Environments are very well upgraded from the original
You can arrange the difficulty by segments of the game
No waypoints & objectives make tracking progress hard
Reused models for corpses is a little silly
Map can be confusing and difficult to follow
Not optimized for gamepads

Well-told story, with excellent atmosphere.
Always maintaining an atmosphere of tension, in which survival depends on a lot of caution and preparation.
SHODAN remains an excellent villain.
Exploring is very fun.
It is very easy to get lost and not know what to do.
The parts of cyberspace are boring.

close to the original
A graphic design that is unique in its own way, yet pleasing to the eye, and does not appear to be exaggerated.
Harmonious soundtrack
The non-linear gameplay allows for a lot of freedom.
Cool antagonist
technically almost free of errors
Individual determination of possible difficulty.
Perfectly captured retro science-fiction vibrations.
strong story
Varied riddles and excursions into cyberspace.
Only partially set to music, therefore very focused on reading, but this is considered a revolutionary approach to the original.
Boring flashback
lack of landmarks / lack of orientation signs
Partially opaque tasks.
only one English voice output (German texts)
The opponents look visually similar and are rather obtuse.
Repetitive fights and explorations.
I love you.

The staging is exceptional and the story surprises as much as it hooks.
Grand artistic style, which is both original and faithful to the classical title.
Its soundtrack is catchy and allows for total immersion.
The gunplay is too rough and its mapping is as confusing as possible.
Dialogues and descriptions somewhat artificial.
Presents both graphic and technical issues.

The design of labyrinthine levels and the sensations it provokes.
What the game requires of the player: it is one of those titles that make us take notes.
It is very interesting to see in their raw state elements that have been the identity markers of modern video games.
The fight, the behavior of enemies, the shooting game.
Sometimes, it can be too complicated.
This can become repetitive in the last third of the adventure.

More explicit in action, more intuitive in gameplay and interface.
