It is created with the idea that you play and replay it, and it works!
The technical aspect is quite solid.
The level design is lacking due to its repetitiveness and reuse of elements, it does not give the impression of variety.
You come up against walls that have nothing to do with skill, but rather with spending more hours improving equipment and character.

Large arsenal of various weapons with cool gadgets.
Motivating and well-paced character development
Spectacular special events and boss battles
Three well-balanced levels of difficulty below the line.
Completely alone or in cooperation with up to three teammates (online and on local network)
The progress of the mission is often relatively uniform.

Satisfying combat
+
Simple yet impactful upgrade systems
+
Keeps the Splatoon vibe throughout
Great argument for SBMM
-
Some weapons of questionable value
-
Unwelcome late-game difficulty spike

Story keeps you guessing
Inking feels great solo or co-op
Runs and looks great on Switch 2
Some islands/raids can feel repetitive

Solid variety of raid types
Compelling progression
Good replayability
Can play the game co-op
Presentation is somewhat drab
Could use more new Salmonids

Ultra enjoyable and satisfying without ever being frustrating
Content really generous, especially for its price.
The dull artistic direction will forever raise questions.
Almost impossible to finish 100% without going through co-op.

Strong variety of weapons
Shooting mechanics are as crisp as ever
Satisfying challenge level that increases over time
Easy to recruit friends and also lend your own services online
The Deep Cut crew are charming, as is your Mechanic avatar
Navigating the compass is a hassle
The grind to level up can become grueling

Quelques musiques bien senties

The feeling of constant progress
The flexibility and possibilities of builds
There are breathtaking action sequences.
Some levels seem uninspired.

Superbly stylish and charming presentation
Lots of elements to unlock and tinker with
Visuals occasionally become too chaotic

A lot of variety in the missions
A large amount of content after completing the game.
Play in cooperation with up to four players, locally and online.
The level of difficulty adjusts when playing together.
Complete storyline with Deep Cut from Splatoon 3
No territorial war, the mode for which the series is known.
The post-game content does not invite everyone to come back.
The reception varies greatly, from a 9 to 2 out of 5.
To play only on the Nintendo Switch 2
No replacement if you mainly play online in a competitive way.

Very addicting grind and gameplay loop
Excellent progression system
Likeable and memorable characters
Only $50!
Frugal number of options for customizing player's appearance

More lore, more Tridenfer!
Variety of bestiary adapted as it should be
No slowdown or loading time really noticeable
Soundtrack and visuals are slightly below my expectations.

Reactive platform with almost instant checkpoints.
Excellent performance both on PC and on Steam Deck.
Good variety of scenarios and mechanics throughout the campaign.
The subtitles must be activated manually.

Decent level design that encourages all-hands-on-deck focus.
Great boss fights.
Varied weapons, gadgets, and enemy variety.
Core gameplay doesn't stray from zerg rushes.

Good multiplayer additions...
Many customization options
Punitive difficulty for those who seek it
Suitable for players of all skill levels.
... but penalized by the absence of GameShare

Rich progression, with many weapons, gadgets, and combinations to try.
Excellent choice of missions and a very complete post-game.
The distribution of improvements allows less freedom than it seems.
The structure can become a bit repetitive in longer sessions.

Fun loot
Great solo, better with friends
Still hate motion controls

Fun and full of content
We definitely needed more platform levels.

Fun characters
Very addictive
Very repetitive
Lacking ambition

The introduction slowly introduces the elements, training room for weapons and gadgets.
At times, quite demanding...
Wide variety of very different weapons
Wide selection of gadget skills divided into three classes with fine-tuning by mods.
Many levels, unlockable harder versions, and post-game content.
Charming dialogues and cinematics with the acolytes Mako, Muri, and Mantaro.
Even in the face of huge masses of enemies, stay fluid.
Detailed designs of handmade weapons and treasures.
The recoverable lore documents offer very nice illustrations.
Fine pieces in the bases and cinematics, some with traditional Japanese influences.
Percussive sounds
...but most often due to an artificial time limit
Design of mainly uniform missions
Many levels seem interchangeable
The level designs are also not visually memorable.
Dissonant, sometimes exasperating for the nerves, in many levels.

Customization of intriguing equipment
Guaranteed fluidity in all situations.
The level design is way too basic.

A wide variety in the creation of builds
Good replayability
Top achievement
The levels quickly become repetitive.

Writing and wordplay
The bestiary of the Salmonoids
A creepy soundtrack
A flat and uninspired level design
Redundancy
A feeling of stretched contentment
Impressive boss battles
Various levels (both fun and visually appealing)
Creative testing workshops
Motivating leveling system
Epic gameplay loop
Another sensation of even more grandiose gameplay
Extremely vast and stimulating
Many customization options with tanks, gadgets, mods, and relics.
The new mechanics enhance the foundations.
Enjoyable and optional multiplayer component
The typical charm of Splatoon with a cool trashy presentation.
Unlockable outfits
Music is a bit neglected

Gameplay remains dynamic thanks to ink management.
+ Rewarding progression and well-thought-out replayability
+ Successful and faithful artistic direction
Effective and pleasant cooperation with others
- Few risks taken compared to the Splatoon formula
Character customization is quite limited.
No local screen sharing
Many things to collect everywhere.
A formula that fits perfectly with the series.
We need more characters and locations.
Advanced construction and improvement system in the right place
Quantity of enemies and spectacular effects
Well-balanced difficulty
Designing scenarios at a very basic level
Unmemorable environments
Some categories of weapons are proving to be less effective in the new system.
