"Break's" story mode is nicely varied and loaded with irreverent silliness
The War and Time Trial challenges are especially satisfying
When on a roll, traversing a course is a breathless thrill ride...
...but when chaos intervenes, it's fraught with controller-snapping frustration
Some challenges feel undernourished and can often be too easy to beat
The AI isn't always as capable as you would want
Track resets after a fall can feel unfairly punitive
