The attention to detail is staggering; the map is filled with small areas and secrets to uncover.
The game's atmosphere is done pretty well, the characters largely take the situation seriously, and the dialogue is well-written.
The vampire nests add a bit of replayability to each neighborhood, even after you finish everything.
The core gameplay is largely satisfying and honestly carries the game on its back.
Performance is a bit poor; frame dips happen frequently enough to be an annoyance.
The talent trees are straightforward and bland; there isn't much customization when it comes to how your character plays.
Enemy AI is awful at the moment; vampires go through walls while fighting the player, and human enemies aren't the brightest either.
The attempt at RPG loot done with the guns is unneeded; the player can use whatever they pick up and do just fine.

This is a particularly entertaining game, perfect for crushing vampires and disconnecting.
Each character has different mechanics, which encourages experimentation and enjoyment.
It can be completed without missing anything both in solo and multiplayer, making it the best option.
The story is surprisingly weak and does not focus on properly expanding the lore.
In terms of graphics and technical aspects, it leaves much to be desired.
Progression in the story only matters to the one hosting the game, which is a monumental mistake.

Works well as a solo game.
But it is clear that this was done to bring even more pleasure in cooperation.
The influence of Arkane is still perceptible.
The atmosphere can sometimes pleasantly remind one of "Stephen King".
There is nothing new under the sun.
Some side missions are typical fillers of an open world.
Thirty frames per second on console and the need to always be online have a very 2018 feel.
The usual bugs that modern launches seem to be associated with.

Not much variety in the monsters;
Technically fluctuating.
Spartan and restrictive frame.

Shades of great atmospherics, writing, and art direction
Interior locations can be interesting to explore
FPS combat is serviceable, with some cool weapon designs and satisfying vampire stake-take-downs
The overarching story has some great moments
A collection of irritants like phantom enemies, stuck textures, glitchy UI, and occasional hard crashes on Xbox
While pretty, the open world too often feels lifeless
"RPG" layers are underbaked, with mountains of copy-pasted items, arbitrary "stats," and a currency system with nothing to buy
Design decisions to encourage multiplayer undermine the entire experience

Art direction and Redfall as a setting
Sounds design and music
Shooting feels fine, with standard FPS mechanics offering fun co-op moments
Hero abilities are hit-and-miss, but some are great, like Devinder?s teleport thingy for getting around.
The comically large hands-on NPCs
Repetitive design across story missions and side missions
Dull story with forgettable characters
Writing and dialogue that feels like an early version of ChatGPT taking a stab at discourse
The handful of special vampires all look and behave the same, even when given a name like ?The Bride?
Weapons are all slight variations on a theme, with ?legendary? loot being limited to a handful of guns you?ll see over and over
The open world is large and architecturally varied but isn?t used to create anything you?d consider dynamic or tactical, or surprising when it comes to combat
Enemy AI or lack thereof
Safe Houses feel pointless when they all offer the same side mission and vampire underboss battles
Redfall?s technical issues include everything from crashing to broken missions to inconsistent performance
Story and mission progress is only saved for the host, also it?s not drop-in, drop-out co-op
Marking a quest as active doesn?t actually add its marker to the compass
Annoyingly, you need to add a waypoint for each and every quest manually
Leveling is extremely slow, and you barely get enough Skill Points actually to mess around with different playstyles, even after the credits roll

Multiplayer.it
The narrative concept is original
Effective diversity of approaches in the conduct of missions
Gunplay is light years away from being enjoyable
The story will struggle to involve even the most enthusiastic vampire lovers
The open world is naked and unattractive
A technical department that leaves something to be desired

Very beautiful music.
Good progression system
Staking vampires is fun.

Vida Extra
Shootings are very fun.
The setup and first steps in its open world.
The feeling of empowerment through the use of skills.
He quickly exhausts his ideas.
Artificially and uncomfortably prolong the adventure.

GamesWelt
Attractive design
Entertaining story over long distances
A city that is beautifully designed in itself.
Solid shooting mechanics
Significant skills of characters with good synergies.
partially original weapons
some successful levels sections (Adison-Villa, dollhouse level)
Cross-play between PC and Xbox is quite easy to set up.
Technically only average with performance drops on all platforms.
Only 4K30 on Xbox Series X.
Many bugs, some serious, in all areas.
Quite a stupid AI.
Repetitive mission process
Poor feedback when caught oneself.
Level of difficulty strangely unbalanced - Cooperation is way too easy.
Purchase progress only for the host.
No cooperation in Drop-in/Drop-out mode.
Static-passive NPCs
