Old-school graphical presentation and upbeat soundtrack give a unique presentation to the game?s aesthetic.
Heavily influenced by other action-heavy works of art, its relentless gameplay works best when your reflexes and abilities are at the top of the game on each mission.

The enemies look paper thin and are not fully rendered in 3D. This can have a cheap feeling when attacking them, and the hitbox feels somewhat inaccurate at times.
Punishing combat relies on using your skills and abilities often, but the lack of aid when you cannot seem to progress, the unneeded implementation of a stamina bar, and the constant repeating of each level can end up leaving some frustrated.
