Pros and cons for Pokemon Legends: Z-A - Mega-Dimension List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Resolves some complaints about the main game
Very easy to dip in and out
Highly encourages mainlining and sidelines side quests
Pokemon went wildly off course frequently

Some ideas implemented in the distortions are good.
The final and additional challenges offer a lot to do.
There is little to do inside each distortion.

Plenty of Pokémon to catch
Brisk but interesting story?
Huge difficulty spike at the start
Donut making doesn?t require much thought

More than 130 new Pokémon
Successful new Mega-Evolutions
Excellent soundtrack
Accelerated progression towards Chroma Charm
Too much grind
High price
Limited variety of tasks

Level 100
+ Pokémon are fantastic
Fights are still great, and there's genuine challenge here
Donut making and berry gathering is a pain
Platforming and navigation is frustrating

They are back (largely) the Pokémon of the past...
Intriguing the roguelike reinvention of the game...
? constrained by limited visits to the passages
... but he certainly doesn't reinvent the wheel.

The gameplay loop pairs well with capturing the rarest Pokémon.
We could have done a little more on the content side.

The new Mega Evolutions are numerous with the possibility of capturing them.
A Pokédex with over 130 new creatures
An idea on paper that had potential
Interesting lifespan for the most daring
Obligation to finish the story to enjoy it: timing too short with the game's release.
An extremely anecdotal scenario
A selling price that raises questions

Successful mega-evolutions, both in design and in the combat they offer.
A difficulty raised compared to the series' standards
The obligation to prepare donuts: a waste of time
Limited time exploration: frustrating
Dimensions to explore with no interest
The absence of colors in the cracks is so sad.
Too many secondary quests with no interest at all.
30?
We appreciate the new level of difficulty, especially against the Megas.
The expanded Pokédex and the way Lumina City also sees new content in the form of missions.
The donut system with effects that modify elements of the game by passing through portals is a real success.
We would have liked the difficulty to last a little longer. It is mastered during the content completion process.
