Multiplayer expeditions help you survive more than a single death
So many armor sets with unique set bonuses
Carrying over Nioh 1 save data allows you to play as William (visual transformation only)
Living Weapons have been overhauled into Yokai Shift
New Switchblade weapon should appeal to Bloodborne fans
All loot is still randomly generated, including soul cores, so farming the perfect build will take time
Stamina management has a strong learning curve to master
Weapon handling is largely similar to the first Nioh, leading to less innovation than desired
Death in only two or three hits, even in heavy armor
