The gameplay remains very enjoyable.
Playbooks are a great addition to give more realism to the 32 teams.
Gyms have a fantastic atmosphere, with music from each team and other details.
The matches seem to be broadcasted on television.
Not much has changed compared to NHL 26.
Being a Pro continues to be extremely similar to the previous year.
AI presents frustrating decisions at different times.
The title is still without subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese.

Team-specific Playbooks introduce tactical identities that make adapting your approach more important than ever
Teammates react more convincingly to momentum, positioning, and evolving game situations
Authentic presentation makes the action feel properly televised, even if the change isn?t as significant as first thought
Little meaningful evolution across the game?s other modes
AI isn?t always consistent, with teammates sometimes failing to capitalise on obvious opportunities
An expensive annual entry that doesn?t do enough to justify its price tag

The same core game is here, and it's still relatively fun
New stadium authenticity is a fine touch
Little to no game mode improvements
No major gameplay progress in how it feels to play this game
NHL 27 looks as good as NHL 24, when the series decided to go current-gen only
