Unabashedly difficult
The massive amount of options can be daunting
Missing shots at point blank is a gut punch

Artificial intelligence is not always up to the task.

This can be intimidating, given the number of mechanisms and their sanctions.

The manipulation on the satellite map and on Maps is sometimes inaccurate, resulting in numerous incorrect clicks.
The game becomes too easy in the second half (probably also depending on the playing style).
However, combat artificial intelligence has several malfunctions.
Strategic artificial intelligence is almost non-existent, everything is scripted or "on rails".
By freely completing the main and important secondary quests, the balance can be disrupted (the final boss fight being easier than the first two, etc.).
The progression levels of mercenaries are not very motivating.
The in-game cinematics are at best average.
Except for the introduction, there are no rendering scenes, not even at the end of the game as a reward.
Voice output only in English
The cutscenes and NPC dialogues decrease.
The invited player cannot bring any mercenaries, not even their alter ego.
A post-battle screen (showing who achieved what) would be desirable.

Management aspects are tedious
