Increase the performance of the Core Ultra 7 range to the level of the Core Ultra 9.
The increase in power up to around 330W provides substantial improvements in sustained frequencies under stress conditions, and therefore in overall performance.
The Intel LGA1851 platform for these processors offers many options and very attractive entry-level prices even in the high-end ranges.
Its extensive consumption, which allows it to develop its full potential, requires cooling of over 300W.

More than 20% more multi-core power compared to its predecessor.
The recommended price of 300 US dollars offers excellent value for money.
In Cinebench 2026, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus significantly outperforms the much more expensive Core Ultra 9 285K in the multi-thread ranking (according to Maxon's database).
An unlocked multiplier allows overclocking enthusiasts to tap into additional performance potential.
The single-core performance is almost stagnant and offers no practical advantage compared to its predecessor.
In Germany, the current price on the road is much too high, around 450 euros.
The LGA 1851 socket is obsolete and offers no possibility for future upgrades.
