Some of the newly added powerups and shortcuts make the game standout from the rest of the kart racers on the market.
Getting a 100 percent completion is quite doable and with enough effort, it does not also feel dragged out with repetition of events either.
Voice acting and lore elements are in-tact, making it a must-get title for people who love the work Dreamworks put out to the theaters.

The game sometimes feels unfinished with the AI being broken and glitches occur quite frequently during the gameplay.
No online scene makes it quite barren and nobody to share you experiences with, while kart racers are known for the online competition most of the time.
