The story is amazing. The whole town has been affected by a sudden tragedy that took place and now the player has to help every character deal with what has happened. Even if the gameplay wasn't amazing they story alone would still be worth delving into just to meet the cast of characters.
The gameplay is the perfect way to tell this story. What could have easily been reduced down to a walking sim (no hate to walking sims), but instead the simulator allows an even deeper depth into each of the individuals in the town.
Every aspect of the game's design feels intentional. The artwork and sound are so perfect is seems as though they were hand picked every time. The voice acting is also exquisite, adding to the realism of the town and the people in it.

Juggling two crucial discussions without fully grasping either one.
