Niche Gamer

The gameplay is incredibly tight and cathartic, as dashing through stages while breaking everything in your path is very fun
Antonblast's spritework is fantastic and really helps deliver on the late 90's cartoon aesthetic
The voice acting was an unexpected but welcomed surprise, as it adds a lot of charm to the game's cutscenes
Lots of replayability thanks to the combo challenges and time trials

Bosses are either uninteresting or force you to play the game in very different ways
The lack of respawning enemies makes secrets annoying to reach sometimes

Checkpoint Gaming

Despite its chaotic presentation, surprisingly skillful and fast-paced gameplay
Gorgeously weird visuals, particularly during the boss fights
Boss fights were especially over-the-top and fun
Decent amount of variety in level gimmicks, which were mostly quite enjoyable

Dearth of checkpoints during the end-of-level Happy Hour segments could become a little frustrating
Some of the level gimmicks (the pinball one in particular) were a lot less fun than others
