To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Tailor-made for fans of the movie(s)
Open mission design is satisfying
Bug missions are a nice addition

Affectionate implementation of the famous IP
Funny and well-acted intermediate FMV sequences
Endless satire and propaganda
Possibility to play as a bug
Graphically, except for the battles, not very successful.
History to forget
A bit clumsy control like a bug

Core gunplay and systems work well together
Exploration-centric mission design allows for many intense battles that will push you to your limits
The bug campaign is a great way to take a break from the challenges of the human campaign
Live action cutscenes are phenomenal.
The inability to switch away from special weapons without throwing them down feels awkward.

Open mission design
FMV cutscenes are great
No multiplayer

Great weapon variety
Playing as Bugs is remiscient of Gears of War 3?s Beast mode
Cheap deaths
No multiplayer

Understands the movie it is based on
Bugs die in so many ways
Horde gameplay can be exhausting

Direct and no-frills gaming system
Technically remarkable
Difficulty curve with sudden spikes
He exudes "cooperation" through every pore but... it is not there!

Ordinances! Explosions!
FMV Cutscenes Are Entertaining
Bug Mode Feels Tacked On and One-note
A Bit to Self-Indulgent in Certain Quotes from the Film

Lots of difficulty and gameplay options
Mostly solid gameplay
Some frame drops and audio glitches

The level of basic training ensures good adaptation.
Several levels of difficulty
Configurable control
The content of the levels increases continuously.
With greetings before the movies, including new film sequences with Casper Van Dien.
Unlockable bug levels, well done.
Imitates quite well the technical style of the 90s.
Smoothly, despite the amount of bugs.
Original sound effects
Catchy music
Translation in English:
Translation from French to English:
Translation of German text
Maybe too ugly for the eyes of modern players.
No German version

Wide range of scenes
Without a doubt, the best way is Bicho Asesino.
Small subtitles, you don't understand anything while you're in the middle of the action.
Missions and objectives somewhat similar. I am missing vehicles.

Johnny Rico is here!
Reminds me of the big map battles of old school Battlefield games
Bug missions are pretty funny
Little gameplay variety, despite the freedom
Complete lack of co-op and multiplayer is a huge bummer

Feeling of pleasant shooting
Your well-maintained satire
Large cards that give space
Some good ideas for structure
Lack of overall depth
Limited enemy variety
The passages about insects are somewhat convincing.
Difficult to stay hooked on it for long

Ingenious premise that blurs the lines of reality
The most authentic representation of the legendary Paul Verhoven film with faithful nods to the novel where appropriate
Y2K-era retro aesthetics
Mobile Infantry and Arachnid campaigns are different enough to keep the game varied
Just like in the movie, war against the arachnids is hopelessly chaotic and confusing
The iconic Basil Poledouris theme is never used
Repetitive structure and missions lack imagination
The sprite-based humans feel off when fighting them as a large 3D bug in third-person

Satirical and humorous, it's a gift for Starship Troopers fans.
Its visual look captures the retro style very well.

Tight, flexible moment-to-moment gameplay
Great audio/visual presentation
Casper Van Dien is back as Johnny Rico
Some pacing issues and barron environments between objectives
Bug Mode is awkward and imprecise

Semi-open structure with numerous missions, favoring replayability
The Arachnide mini campaign brings a real variation of gameplay.
Rich arsenal with over 30 weapons
Respect of the license's DNA
Allied AI too often failing
A somewhat meager lifespan
Lack of cooperative mode, yet perfectly suited to the concept

Live-action scenes are genuinely funny
No co-op
Rather short

Casper!
We let off steam well
Empty sets
Gameplay precision

Return of Casper Van Dien is a nice touch
Lots of bugs to kill
Yet still short and underwhelming
Bug missions are awful
Dynamic shooting game
Nicely open level design
Superb framing with fantastic live cinematic scenes.
Bug missions are a pleasant distraction.
no cooperative mode
More variety in tasks would have been appreciated.

... you enjoy the satire and action of the film.
... you have always wished for a solo mode for Helldivers 2.
... do not look down on games with a duration of less than ten hours.
... the sight of insects makes you panic.
