Incredibly pretty
Journal and recall mechanic makes you feel part of the story
Narrative is a little too metaphor-heavy to hit the way it hopes
Over-stuffed with puzzles that dilute the main story's momentum
Photography mechanic is fun? at first. Definitely not for everyone!

GamesWelt
Picturesque anime graphics in the Ghibli style
Fun photographic mechanics with many (optional) features
Sympathetic and truly tangible characters
A moving and realistic story that is influenced by my decisions.
Unpredictable or difficult to understand consequences
Sometimes clues are very well hidden, imprecise or contradictory.

Movies Games and Tech
Narrative is well written, emotional and impactful. I can feel the passion that the writers put into it
Beautiful design and graphics for both characters and setting. A must have for a photography game
Lots of riddles and puzzles to solve, from matching murals, to descriptions showing correct photos to a Firebowls, solving the mysteries of the lore, and decoding a language
Tense moments in the game do actually feel tense. Not an action game by any means, but still does an effective job
I do wish there was a way to manual save or select a chapter/area on the home page. Relies on autosaving throughout and some players can accidentally miss things if they progress. Somewhat addressed in game with Comfort mode, but I believe it could still happen
Other small personal preferences, such as more clarity in spending seeds for items and photos staying in correct spots in the field journal

Nintendo Life
Absolutely beautiful art style and visuals
Character writing is fantastic
Camera and journal are well implemented
You'll laugh, cry, and smile multiple times
Inconsistent and unstable frame rate can be distracting
It's very easy to miss stuff
