Collectathon elements are rewarding on multiple levels
Beautiful landscapes and lush backdrops
Random encounters yield little to no reward making them annoying

Nostaliga references with characters and moments
Simple pick up and play controls.
Some mini-games are essentially pointless.
Same tired Dragon Ball Z storyline

A new fighting style that completely changes the gameplay.
Controlling Kid Goku is what many people were waiting for.
You cannot control other characters like Chi-Chi or Shen.
The duration could be longer by not skipping as many fights.

Graphical improvements
Flash charging times
The adaptation of Bardock, a pure candy

The DLC pack guarantees more hours of play;
The port for the Nintendo console is well done;
Some technical failures with the console in dock mode.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Usual and fun exploration of the half-open world of gaming
The lack of a flying function strongly affects the gameplay.
Joyful fights
Horde battles are certainly redundant, but entertaining.
Duration of four to eight hours
No technical improvement compared to the original published in 2020.
Balancing problem
More than six months of break until the second part.

Ambitious open world
Faithful, authentic
Some awesome cutscenes
Tedious exploration which feels stilted
Unintuitive menus
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Oodles of minor details and character appearances sure to please fans
Levelling system feels unnecessary
English dub full... of pregnant pauses
Overworld activities and side-quests are a little too simple
Running into familiar characters
The Boss fights are tough and provided a challenge
For a game called Kakarot, you don't really controlled him much
Gathering and fishing feels more like a chore than anything else

Fighting feels great
Flying around is compelling
Community Board is a well done idea
Lots of empty space in the world
Side quests are generally short and uninteresting

Big climactic boss fights that feel incredibly exciting
Various scenes from the anime lovingly recreated
Overly long load times
Won?t be at all interesting for non-fans of the series

Enjoyable exploration
Simple, punchy combat
Some addictive RPG elements
Fun minigames
Runs great on PS5
Free upgrade from PS4
A few too many fetch quests
Repetition sets in later on
Some really rough textures
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Reliving additional Dragon Ball Z popular story arcs
Fast paced, hard-hitting and earth shaking battles
Familiar character voices in both Japanese and English
Cell shaded character graphics make them look like their anime counterparts
The large amount of grinding required to progress through the game
Same major camera issues while facing multiple enemies
Upgraded visuals make the environment graphics look even more out of place than before with the cell shaded characters
