Pros and cons for Absolum List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Branching paths and unpredictable encounters keep runs fresh
Distinct roster of characters encourages experimentation
Gorgeous hand-drawn art and top-tier soundtrack
Excellent voice acting that elevates the story
Runs are on the long side

The elements of roguelite. They are not introduced just for fun. They are designed to the point of boredom and built with that in mind.
Each character is completely different and with the variations offered by the roguelite, there are many different approaches to playing each of them.
There are some bosses that are reused with a simple makeover. It's something typical of the genre, but it's surprising to see it in a game that is visually detailed.
Rewarding, precise combat mechanics
Wide array of Rituals reward experimentation and clever combos
Sidequests and branching paths makes every run feel different
Magical setting of Talamh feels real and lived-in

Multiple branching paths and many areas to discover
Refined, hard-hitting combat
Solid progression system
Well-animated artstyle
Choices narrow near the end of a run
No "Pros & Cons" find at GameInformer

Visually and aurally superb, forming a world you feel compelled to see all of
One of the deepest and smartest combat formulas in any roguelike action game
Incredibly enjoyable in multiplayer, engineered to run smoothly
Some may find the voice acting quality questionable in places
Difficult to see why multiplayer and local co-op is restricted to only two-players
No "Pros & Cons" find at TierraGamer
Fantastic soundtrack courtesy of a star-studded cast
Stellar combat with each character offering a fun, unique playstyle
Plenty of room for different entertaining builds
Extensive replay value thanks to random events and a narrative that evolves over multiple runs
Takes a while to get rolling in the initial hours
Some characters don't get as much as narrative development
Story-telling has a few holes

Soundtrack is great
Beat 'em up and roguelike elements perfectly complement each other
Rewarding gameplay

Combat too enjoyable to play
Extremely addictive roguelike structure
Soundtrack of the year
The game is localized in Brazilian Portuguese.
The story may be too simple for those who were expecting something more complex.

Fantastic and varied combat system
Crisp and impactful sound design
Beautiful animations, characters, and environments
Not too deep roguelike elements
Sometimes confusing fights

Fun and cooperative gameplay
Quite extensive content...
Playable characters to refine
No "Pros & Cons" find at PCGamer

Enjoyable combat
Not overwhelmingly complex
Gets a little repetitious
Could use a couple more hero types

Rock-solid combat fundamentals are elevated by varied rituals
+
Vivid art and an exceptional soundtrack
+
Enormous range of potential builds, and fresh discoveries on each run
Boring enemies in large volumes make the final stretch a slog
-
Overarching story is fairly forgettable
-
Doesn't fully address the genre's fundamental weaknesses

Satisfying combat and progression
Sharp, cartoon-style visuals

Deeply addictive roguelike elements
Memorable bosses
Great for two-player co-op
Striking art direction, animations
Shockingly robust soundtrack
Thoughtful difficulty options
Uninteresting story and lore
Some iffy voice acting
Visual clarity can be poor

The synergies between powers give rise to amusing mergers.
Great care for the artistic aspect of the production
There is a problem with the balancing of the characters.
Once all the upgrades for the heroes are obtained, the level of challenge decreases too much.

A rogue'em up recipe that works wonders
Excellent gameplay: easy to pick up, impactful, addictive.
The feeling of adventure and discovery that emanates from the experience
The wise know how to reward us and renew the parts without boring us.
High quality soundtrack
Cooperation on-site or online, with its specificities
The commendable narrative efforts
It still lacks hits per character
The level design does not renew itself enough.
A challenge too quickly tamed, especially in cooperation

Gorgeous hand-drawn, comic-inspired graphics.
Engaging roguelite progression with meaningful choices.
Excellent co-op gameplay with player synergy.
Dynamic soundtrack and immersive sound effects.
The camera can struggle during chaotic fights.
Some bosses may feel repetitive over multiple runs.
Exploration and puzzles are occasionally shallow.
Roguelite randomness can frustrate new players.

The fights, with their dynamism and versatility, are among the best we have enjoyed in the genre.
Some aspects specific to roguelites bring variety to the whole...
There is a lack of variety in the biomes.
The AI of the mercenaries is very very limited.

Fabulous artistic section, it looks like a European-style comic book.
There is no unimportant race: we always discover something new in the form of an object, character, side mission, etc...
Quite longer than it seems, especially when looking at the map as a whole.
The AI of allies is often very limited.

Artistically impressive;
Dynamic and fun game...
Available in Italian.
A few too many bugs.

Possibility to create a large number of builds
The coop, a real treat
Impeccable achievement on all fronts
Many surprises
An affordable challenge and good balance
Serious readability issues (in co-op) that are truly penalizing.
An unconvincing scenario
Necessarily repetitive after a while (blame it on the genres)

Smart use of Meta Progression
Marvelous Art Direction
Way Better in Co-op

Great presentation
Branching world
No "Pros & Cons" find at IGN

Gorgeous visuals
Slick animation
Roguelite elements work great to start with
Roguelite elements start to really drag, with little new being added in the latter stages

Satisfying and fast-paced combat
Good attention to lore and worldbuilding
The player relies a lot more on incremental meta upgrades and trinkets instead of ritual synergies
Some inspirations would work better as permanent upgrades

Beautiful field of vision.
Good soundtrack.
Variety of enemies.
The different events/quests are very limited.
Boring scenario.
