Deactivatable user interface
Speech synthesis in English and Japanese
Knowledge of the first part is absolutely necessary.
Those who love puzzles in dungeons will not find them here.
The dungeons sometimes seem empty and static.

A narrowly-focused narrative with an incredible pay off.
Great cast with an excellent voice direction.
Lovely visuals, animations, and music. Excellent QoL.
Great combat system that is flashy and tactical.
Pacing is maintained by fun questing, side activities, and cast shakeups.
Narrative doesn't give everyone enough time to shine; many beats are shoved into the back end.
I had to rediscover the map of Liberl again.

Fascinating storytelling that shifts significantly in focus and scope from the previous story
Tweaks to combat make certain features more enticing to use
Table-setting with a bunch of new characters and villains can be annoying in terms of story structure

Excellent remake of the original game, retaining its charm while evolving the formula.
Fun combat whether in real time or turn-based.
Very cool graphics with very well-made designs.
Good amount of content to explore, between the main storyline and the bracers' missions.
Add mechanics and mini-games that expand significantly on what was introduced in the previous title.
Some scenarios could be better constructed.
Without Portuguese subtitles
The camera becomes a bit erratic at times during real-time battles.
