NerdMovieProductions
Timeless combat system.
Several quality of life improvements.
A narrative capable of alternating between lightness and drama.
No new content added.
Aesthetic differences between the original and the remaster reduced to the essentials.

Multiplayer.it
the concise yet captivating story and the tight-knit cast
The original soundtrack by Motoi Sakuraba
Technically, it is really very outdated.

Nintendo-Town
Tales of Eternia enfin en français

Shacknews
Restored skits
Solid under the hood tinkering and performance upgrades
Tales of Eternia is a great game!
Butchered opening cutscene and in-game animated assets
Visuals use bizarre mix of raw pixels and ugly smudge filtering
Unnecessary waypointing that compromises optional content and exploration
