XBoxEra
Fun base combat with expanded weapon options.
Hunters have their own combat styles and are fun to play.
Core gameplay loop and progression is enjoyable.
Sung Jinwoo is too cool for school.
Combat is jank incarnate.
Quality-of-life issues, including with the main menu.
Level design is poor and generally uninteresting.
Solo Leveling's narrative is quite bland and uninteresting.

Solid visuals and cool animations, especially in combat
Motion comicing the source material is a solid approach for story mode
Performance issues, especially in cutscenes
Shallow combat mechanics
Tons of grinding in place of microtransactions

Beyond Gaming
Very tight visuals
The fight is very entertaining (but unfortunately also becomes repetitive)
The additional hunters are a welcome change.
Faithful to the story (but a bit too simplified)
The disappearance of gacha elements is positive (but grinding still remains somewhat present)
The story lacks context if you haven't watched the anime or read the manwha.
The "mobile" aspect is not completely gone.
Sometimes loading times are quite long.
The resources needed for crafting are not always clear.
The central hub could be further developed.
Here and there are some glitches and bugs.
