Pros and cons for OPUS: Prism Peak List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Insightful narrative
Effective sum of all parts
Inability to pause during cutscenes

Emotional, profound narrative
Unique characters
Multiple endings
Unhurried, relaxing gameplay
Having to piece together the story through photos
Can re-watch important flashbacks and cutscenes
Can be somewhat touchy about taking pictures - too close, too far, too dark, not dark enough, etc.
No multiple saves, which means you can't go back and change your choice
Can easily miss important emotional cutscenes

Stunning soundtrack
Fun photography gameplay
Excellent detail in storytelling, characters, and lore
Action sequences (i.e. running from The Shade) are sudden and can feel out-of-place at times.
Can sometimes be hard to judge right choices for character interactions
Easy to miss photo opportunities

Strong narrative path and branches.
Wonderful English cast.
Taking pictures is fun!

Emotionally charged narration
Very successful manga design
Text in French
Excellent Japanese dubbing
Replayability a bit forced
Some technical flaws

Good artistic sector

3D artistic direction of rare beauty anime
Smart and well-integrated photography mechanics
Sublime orchestral soundtrack
Good performance on Steam Deck in default mode (30fps and Medium graphics)
Sometimes slow pace
Some slightly simple riddles
Marked linearity in progression

Nice characters that you meet
Visually very beautiful
Interesting photograph taken in an original way.
Many feel this as "busy work"
No Steam Cloud for saves

Journal and recall mechanic makes you feel part of the story
Over-stuffed with puzzles that dilute the main story's momentum
Photography mechanic is fun? at first. Definitely not for everyone!
Fun photographic mechanics with many (optional) features
Sympathetic and truly tangible characters
A moving and realistic story that is influenced by my decisions.
Sometimes clues are very well hidden, imprecise or contradictory.
Beautiful design and graphics for both characters and setting. A must have for a photography game
Lots of riddles and puzzles to solve, from matching murals, to descriptions showing correct photos to a Firebowls, solving the mysteries of the lore, and decoding a language
Tense moments in the game do actually feel tense. Not an action game by any means, but still does an effective job
Other small personal preferences, such as more clarity in spending seeds for items and photos staying in correct spots in the field journal
Character writing is fantastic
Camera and journal are well implemented
You'll laugh, cry, and smile multiple times
It's very easy to miss stuff
