To increase the difficulty and activate Permadeath mode, the prologue must be replayed.
Some information about the items such as "CA value" and "protection" are not immediately understandable.
Progression options and unlocking new units take a lot of time.
...but for some, barely supporting dialogues
...are rather monotonous in themselves.
Only one game rule; the one who gets stuck in a corner must start the whole chapter over.
The side quests for the inhabitants of the capital are often mundane battles.
The passing time while traveling can be stressful.
The game action always takes place at only 30 frames per second.
Contrary to Three Houses, there is no continuous full dubbing.

The mechanics of causality is a stroke of genius.
It's a very long game with lots of things to do and discover.
Almost perfect combat system
Technically excellent both in terms of portability and on television.
The boldness derived from science fiction could displease some fans.
The story is quite chaotic and requires a lot of patience to understand anything about it.
Some experiences, like battles in ruins, are less convincing.
Some controversial decisions in the second half of the adventure.
