Story is engaging, but also confusing at times.
From Software's classic macabre oozes out of this game.
The 3D graphics are hard to look at, but you can see hints of current From Software in them.
The controls are very hard to master.
Very short game sadly.
Very expensive to find in this hot Retro market now.

Responsive controls that allow for seamless exploration and fun platforming
Strong pacing and environmental design
Painfully short runtime - feels like it's over just when it's kicking off
Several loose ends remain with the narrative, which doesn't endear as much as Giant Squid's past games
The best parts of the platforming come together in the late game
Trick system feels mostly superfluous
Hefty performance drops in some areas

Character-driven storytelling that sticks the landing by the end
Strong visual presentation that's great to look at throughout
A few fun puzzle and platforming challenges, particularly towards the back half
It puts its worst foot forward and takes five chapters into a 10-chapter game to get better
Fraught with technical issues that bring down even its better elements
Combat that both doesn't try to innovate and isn't able to stand up with modern action-adventure standards
Lack of enemy variety that, once again doesn't improve until later chapters
Uninteresting boss fights that are more often than not repeat fights against the same key characters
