TheSixthAxis
Modernised hack n? slash gameplay
Gorgeous visual upgrades and a killer soundtrack
Worthwhile enhancements and new game features
Packs in a wealth of replayable content
It is quite basic and repetitive for modern action game fans

Nintendo World Report
Consistently good framerate both docked & handheld.
Healthy playable character options with diverse weapon sets.
The arcade combat & battlefield strategy formula is as good as it ever was.
A few rough levels.
Not much extra bells & whistles.
Oddly long loading times.

Beyond Gaming
Taking on hundreds of enemies remains fun.
Impressive remastering with many quality of life improvements
Split screen!
The gameplay shows its age
The Musou mode feels fragmented.
Sometimes slightly blurry images

Gaming Trend
New gameplay mechanics play into balance well
Enemy difficulty provides compelling friction
-The English VA is really, really funny
Switch 2 Handheld performance is dreadful
Graphical updates, while pretty, won?t land for everyone
Mission variety and leveling aren?t quite up to modern Warriors standards
The English VA is still really, really bad

Nintendo-Town

Smartworld
Faithful graphic reconstruction
Xtreme Legends and some additional content
More fluid and responsive
Split-screen local also on PC...
It's a shame that there is no online cooperation.
Too repetitive
Little differentiation in generalities.
Some of the gameplay innovations are marginal.
