Not a seamless transition between 3D and 2D modes
No new content that wasn't already added to Nintendo Switch release of DQXI S
One of the hardest superbosses in DQ history will gatekeep many players from 100% achievements
CG cutscenes remove voice acting if playing in 2D mode

Long, captivating and full of good plot twists.
Excellent character casting
Traditional turn-based combat, but very well executed.
The content of the Definitive Edition remains very robust, with a 2D mode, accelerated combat, and extra story content.
The Switch 2 version works very well, with 60 frames per second and almost instant loading times.
Absence of Brazilian Portuguese
There is no upgrade for those who already own the Nintendo Switch version.
Switch backups are not compatible with Switch 2 version.

L?écriture est excellente
Le doublage japonais est disponible, en plus de l?anglais
La bande sonore orchestrale du Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra est un régal
Le mode 2D rétro est complet et permet de revivre le jeu à l?ancienne, avec un vrai charme
C?est la meilleure façon de jouer à Dragon Quest XI en portable
Les ennemis visibles sur la carte évitent les rencontres aléatoires frustrantes
Aucun nouveau contenu
Impossible de transférer ses sauvegardes depuis la version Switch originale
Aucun patch de mise à niveau, gratuit ou payant, pour les anciens acheteurs
Il faut repayer le plein tarif, autour de 40 euros, pour ce qui ressemble à un patch de performance
Le mode Qualité en 30 fps souffre de problèmes de frame pacing
La différence visuelle entre les modes Performance et Qualité est presque invisible à l??il nu
La bande sonore reste répétitive
