They have adapted DK very well to the 3D plan.
Destruction is a mechanism that suits the character very well.
This gives you many ways to solve puzzles.
Brings RPG elements and even customization.
This new phase of the character is very good.
So much destruction then makes the game of tug-of-war
At that moment, I feel that the camera is very close to the character.

DK Island looks as beautiful as you'd expect
Heaps of rewards means there's plenty of replayability
It's a perfect excuse to dive back into Nintendo's best platformer in years
Content doesn't match the price tag
DK Island feels empty without Emerald Rush
No new collectibles feel like a missed opportunity
If you don't vibe with the roguelike, there's nothing here for you

The island that is the flagship of the DLC is beautiful and full of nods.
The argument acts as a brief epilogue for the Void Company trio.
The roguelike mode of hunting emeralds still has room for improvement.
Maybe a little expensive for what it offers.

The island of DK in its most beautiful version, with familiar landscapes and characters.
The roguelite mechanism of the expansion and the return to the planet's underground from a new perspective...
...which quickly ends up becoming boring, even tedious.
Power-ups and rewards that do not match the roguelite genre and lack imagination and practicality.
A very poor relationship between the content and the value of the offer.

Extremely weird and difficult Banandiumtone puzzles
DK Island is pretty
even if it feels like an undeservedly soulless addition
