... you always complete all the side missions first before continuing with the main story.
... motivates you to search for hidden treasures in the long term.
... you enjoy real-time combat from a first-person perspective and trying out many weapons.
... you are expecting a realistic world simulation like in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
... you never leave the main path and always ignore the branches.
... a staging worthy of a movie is a must for you.

The Living Lands are a great setting built on strong foundations.
?Quality over quantity? approach to areas and side activities.
Satisfying main plot with intelligent twists.
The writing behind characters and quests is fantastic across the board.
Weighty, fun combat no matter your weapon of choice.
Strong audiovisual presentation.
Good performance and overall technical polish on PC.
Too many secondary choices don?t have a noticeable impact on the world.
Missed chances to make the areas feel more ?alive? and less static.
More control over the party members would?ve been nice.
Grindy, discordant item/enemy tier system.
Few opportunities to avoid combat encounters.

Obsidian highlights its expertise in world-building, storytelling, and overall game design.
The Living Lands do not exceed in size and are under the control of the player.
The first-person melee (and magic) gameplay works satisfactorily to a certain extent and certainly better than the vast majority of similar titles.
RPG elements such as level, upgrades, and companions remain very basic.
The design of the models has something of the first semester in a graphic design school.
Elements such as the party camp, numerous lines of dialogue, and many side quests give an impression of haste.
The battle would have been much better if it had been less chaotic.
