The new realme phones are here and today we'll be checking out the vanilla model of the series The Real Me 10. this is a mid-ranger that promises to bring plenty of bang for your buck so let's see if it delivers I'm will for GSMArena and this is our real me 10 review

The real me 10 brings similar specs and features to the previous model the realme 9 but with a couple of major changes
now there's a new more powerful Helio g99 chipset but in order to balance out the price realme has gone for a lower res main camera and cut the ultrawide cam completely so rather than a clear upgrade the real me 10 seems more like a different take on the same phone with a focus on chipset performance it's fairly light in the hand and made from plastic with a glossy gradient finish both the back and the frame are flat and the frame's matte finish adds a bit of grip an interesting design choice is that there are two camera bumps here even though one is just a depth sensor the realme 10 doesn't have any Splash proofing which you can find on some competitors the display of the phone is a 6.4 inch AMOLED with a 1080p resolution gorilla glass fire protection and a 90 Hertz refresh rate the fast refresh rate is nice to smooth out the movements on screen and no matter if you're in the auto mode or the 90 Hertz one the refresh rate can dial down to 60hz when idling to save energy the display is plenty sharp and as an AMOLED the picture is quite contrasty the colors can be fairly accurate here depending on the color mode you choose

You can wake up and unlock the phone with a side mounted fingerprint reader built into the power button it works great it's fast and accurate and the real me 10 comes with 64 128 or 256 gigs of storage on board and that is expandable through microSD the phone's interface is real me UI 3.0 based on Android 12. its overall clutter free and easy to use and it feels quite smooth together with a fast refresh rate many functions are provided by Google but the multimedia apps and the file manager are in-house from realme you get plenty of options to customize the looks of the UI through the personalizations page in settings there's also a sidebar which you can swipe open to access customizable shortcuts you can also open apps within flexible floating windows either from within the sidebar or the task Switcher these features are powered by a new chipset from mediatek a helio g99 built on a six nanometer process

The Realme 10 is priced just the same as Realme 9 and the phone is now more powerful owing to the Helio G99 chipset upgrade. Something had to give, though - the ultrawide camera is gone now, and the 108MP sensor for the primary has been swapped for a 50MP one.
